Chinoiserie Layered Stencils

Chinoiserie is the European art and decoration style of the 17th and 18th centuries often found in wallpaper, textiles, and home products. Asymmetry and nature are often found in the art forms. I love the bold florals of this style, and worked on this set for several months to get it perfect.

Pair with the coordinating stamps and dies.

More crafty ideas: The extra leaves and stems die cuts would be great additions for layering on other projects. Use the stamped outlines to create background interest. Ink blend or spread paste through the stencils onto a background for a mixed media effect.
